A juxtaposition of images from Whitstable, Zandvoort and historical document.
A reference to the area of Auschwitz where my grandmother's father's family, the Woudhuijsens perished. This was unknown until recently as the spelling of my grandmothers name had been changed to Woudhuysen.
The family were advised to travel to the Far East to escape the persecution of the Jews in Holland...only then to be imprisoned by the Japanese.
